Change is inevitable and I came to terms with that a long time ago. At first, change was scary to me and even a little intimidating. Then, I started to realize how change helped me grow, and I started to see the fruits of my labor which made change easier to embrace. My purpose has taken me on a ride that I can’t explain, but I know it's necessary for what God wants out of my life. In the spirit of change, last year I let go of my stage name “Keke Songbird." That was a little scary because that’s the name I started with back in 2015 when I decided to chase my dreams. I was scared about what everyone would say and how they would feel. Then, I thought about it. I said “Keiana you are more than a singer. God has blessed you with many talents and the people are connected to you; not your stage name." That soft, still, voice was right. I didn’t want the world to miss a beat, and I didn’t want to separate my journey. So, here’s to another milestone in my life. Here’s to embracing change. Here’s to being bold and confident about the people we are becoming. You’ve met me before but not quite like this, please allow me to reintroduce myself.
My name is Keiana Marie Whatley and I am a woman destined to change the world while leading people as I continue to grow myself. I’m caught up in purpose, and I have a passion for helping others find their purpose in life as well. I am here to serve YOU.
